Kromkowski brings energy
TRAVERSE CITY RECORD EAGLE
We recommend Marian Kromkowski for Leelanau County Probate Judge.
While attorney Larry J. Nelson would also make a fine probate judge,
Kromkowski has years of experience as a domestic relations referee and in dispute resolution and mediation, a great preparation for the role of probate judge. Nelson, a private-practice attorney from Leland, has a low-key style and years of experience that would serve voters well. But Kromkowski brings energy, a keen interest in using mediation and dispute resolution and other new procedures, such as collaborative divorce. She has done criminal defense work, done cases at the court of appeals and has done family law. Her 17 years as a referee will serve the county well.
The right credentials
As an attorney, I appear before judges throughout Michigan. Like us, lawyers and judges have different political views. But good judges have the legal experience and judicial temperament to best serve their community.
I have appeared before Marian Kromkowski in her role as circuit court referee and mediator in many probate and circuit court cases. Marian has the right credentials to serve as our next Leelanau County probate judge.
From the “conservative” side of the aisle, I have no hesitation supporting Marian Kromkowski for our next Leelanau County probate judge.
Please support Marian Kromkowski with your vote on Nov. 2.

Diligence and leadership
One candidate stands out as bringing exceptional energy and leadership skills to the job. The position takes organizational skills of the highest order. From the perspective based on 24 years as a 86th District Judge I recommend Marian Kromkowski’s diligence and leadership for the court seat left vacant since the untimely passing of my good friend Judge Joe Deegan.
Hon..James R. McCormick , 86th District Court Judge (Retired)
Intelligent, patient, hard working and honest.
I have known Marian Kromkowski for 15 years. Throughout this time she has exhibited qualities that would serve her well as a judge. She is intelligent, patient, hard working and honest. She is an excellent attorney who is always prepared. She will be an excellent judge who will be known for her wisdom and integrity.
Hon.. Thomas J. Phillips, 86th District Court Judge
Strong work ethic, balanced approach
After twenty years employment with the Leelanau Probate Court, and recently retired Probate Register, I support Marian Kromkowski for Judge. I have been impressed with her strong work ethic, balanced approach to resolving disputes, her experience on the bench as a judicial referee with respect to family cases, and commitment to serving the community.
Julie Orr, Probate Register (Retired)
Finds common ground
I was very saddened to read two letters to the editor attacking Marian Kromkowski for her work for world peace. She focuses her work on educating people about issues and finding common ground for dialogue. Marian works for peace on all levels, including her work on mediation and collaborative law services. She is thoughtful, articulate and even-handed.
My family has property in Leelanau County and I grew up coming to Glen Lake every summer. I care very much that the families of Leelanau County are served by the best candidate for this important position of Probate Judge: Marian Kromkowski.
Sally Van Vleck, Traverse City
Marian Kromkowski has intelligence, integrity and compassion. And she has my vote.
Joe Spaulding, Maple City
Marian Kromkowski has my vote. She is an outstanding candidate to serve this county as Probate Judge.

A unique opportunity
I write to support Marian Kromkowski for Leelanau County Probate Judge. I have lived and worked in Leelanau County for more than 30 years.
Marian is a fine person of the highest character, and would make a great judge. She will bring her experience as a Family Court Referee together with her training in mediation and peaceful solution of difficult disputes.
This approach is far superior to the traditional adversary approach, especially in domestic situations. The voters of Leelanau County should not pass up this unique opportunity to have a judge with Marian’s integrity, experience and energy.
Jack Seaman, Cedar
It’s no accident that over 65 lawyers f from this area have endorsed Marian Kromkowski for Leelanau County Probate Judge. Lawyers know that experience and qualifications count and that’s why Marian has the overwhelming support of those who know who will best fill Judge Deegan’s shoes. Remember to vote the backside of the ballot first – many miss the nonpartisan offices.

Experienced, smart, methodical, fair in her decisions
I have known Marian for 13 years. When I worked at the Women’s Resource Center, I often accompanied clients to court hearings. Although I did not always necessarily agree with Marian’s decisions, I always understood her reasoning and was able to explain to the client how Marian had reached her conclusion. I really cannot add any more to what other individuals have said about Marian — ethical, professional, experienced, smart, methodical, fair in her decisions, wonderful, caring, family-oriented, community involved, intelligent and so forth — these are all absolutely true and they are also the reason Marian Kromkowski would make an excellent Probate Judge for Leelanau county. Although I live in Benzie county and cannot vote for her, I hope everyone who can, will.
Rebecca Garland
Kromkowski is uniquely qualified
I have lived and practiced law in Leelanau County for more than 30 years. We are fortunate to have two good candidates running for probate judge, but given her experience, Marian Kromkowski the best choice.
When I became a lawyer, the job of a probate judge was relatively easy compared to today. In recent years, all
of the domestic relations work (divorce and custody matters) has been transferred to the probate court.
Marian Kromkowski has been working as a court referee for 17 years. She has been a leader in mediation and the peaceful resolution of disputes. She is universally admired by lawyers, judges and most important, the people who she has worked with to resolve their problems. She is an innovative and energetic person who will be a wonderful judge. Leelanau County will benefit from her experience and good temperament.I urge everyone to vote for her on November 2.

Kromkowski’s extremely qualified
I’ve specialized in family law for the past 28 years. A couple from Interlochen have alleged that Marian is an “extremist.” She is. Marian Kromkowski is extremely well qualified.
Among my legal colleagues it is well known that Marian has a wealth of experience and knowledge in criminal and family law. She is also extremely respected as a domestic relations mediator and a referee.
About 75 percent of the caseload of a probate judge is the same work Marian has performed extremely well for more than 17 years as a referee In the roles of mediator and referee Marian has consistently maintained neutrality, respect for all parties and counsel and appropriate judicial temperament, all necessary traits of an
excellent judge. She truly listens very carefully to all parties and/or counsel who come before her. In the many cases in which I have appeared before Marian as a referee, or utilized her as mediator, she has always reflected the essence of a calm, but caring demeanor, and one who truly understands the importance to and impact of the issues before her.
I can think of no other attorney more “extremely” qualified than Marian Kromkowski to assume the duties of Leelanau Probate Judge.

Kromkowski is level-headed
I am pleased to join the growing list of supporters for Marian Kromkowski’s candidacy for probate court judge. My recommendation is based on her proven performance as a practicing attorney and her 17 years of experience as a judicial referee and court mediator. Marian Kromkowski has demonstrated her expertise in family and criminal law — a necessary quality for a successful judge in a probate court.
Beyond that, she has great integrity, vital to a judge who makes difficult decisions daily.
While an experienced legal professional, Marian remains committed to those who don’t regularly deal with the courts. She authored self-help forms to ease such processes as custody and parenting during the times when families most need this kind of support.
Her colleagues cite her as levelheaded, approachable and responsible. As a domestic relations referee managing a family court docket, Marian has proven she is able to assume the responsibility of a probate court judge and represent all Leelanau County residents with compassion and impartiality.

Temperament, knowledge
I am a native of Leelanau County. We citizens have a unique opportunity to elect a probate judge who has proven experience. Marian Kromkowski would be an excellent replacement for the late Judge Deegan. I have observed Marian speak at community gatherings and remain convinced that she has the necessary skills, temperament and knowledge that our county needs.
I highly recommend that you vote for Marian Kromkowski as our next Leelanau County probate judge.
John Popa Bingham/Traverse City
The ideal choice
As one of the area’s first divorce mediators, I had the good fortune to be joined by Marian Kromkowski. Marian brought legal expertise, patience, intellect and stability. She brought people together by strengthening common goals.
Marian continues to expand these qualities through her professional and community work.
I also work with Marian on peace and justice issues. She speaks up for human rights. She continues to bring people together. Her knowledge and experience, make her the ideal choice for Leelanau probate Judge.

Mature, intelligent
Leelanau County is fortunate to have two good candidates for Probate Court judge. I have voted in all Leelanau elections since moving to Glen Arbor many years ago. On Nov. 2 I shall be voting for Marian Kromkowski and ask you to do likewise. Reviewing Marian’s 17 years experience as a referee, where she performs duties similar to that of a judge, her mediation background helping families resolve difficult issues and her respected law practice convinces me that this mature, intelligent woman is the best choice for Probate Judge.
Mary Sutherland, Glen Arbor
Very honest and forthright
I have known Marian’s brothers, John and Frank for many years through our “sport” of table tennis. I served 42 + years as an investigator in her home town of South Bend, Indiana during which period her dad served in elected public office. In fact, her dad supplied a recommendation at the time I applied for my position as a police officer. Frank is responsible for me being aware of her current desire to become a member of the judiciary as Probate Judge in Leelanau
County, Michigan… I have found all the Kromkowskis to be dedicated to all of their endeavors and very honest and forthright in all of their associations with their friends, family and constituents. It is with great pleasure that I say, without any reservation, that Marian WILL be an extreme asset as an elected member of the judiciary. God Bless her and the entire Kromkowski family. I would be honored to add my name to her list of supporters in herquest for election to the Judgeship. I am now retired, but still have an interest in the well being of all citizens. I am sure she will be successful.
Sincerely, Forest L. Milbourn, South Bend, Indiana
Record speaks for itself
I own Renn Studio in downtown Traverse City. Marian Kromkowski came to me through a friend, nearly 18 years ago. I’ve watched as Marian and her husband Matthew have raised three beautiful, well-adjusted daughters.
Through our years of conversation on a myriad of topics, I’ve witnessed the qualities of a person I’m honored to call my friend. The “word” of this election for both candidates appears to be “experience.” Marian’s record speaks for itself. I urge you to watch her short video at Kromkowski.com.
You’ll see what I mean. Vote Kromkowski for Leelanau Probate Judge.

Best prepared
Guesswork has been taken out of the upcoming probate court election. Marian Kromkowski is the clear choice. Judges must first be attorneys but, once on the bench, cease to be advocates.
Typically, voters cannot predict if a candidate can make that transition; however, Marian Kromkowski, in her work as a mediator and referee has, unlike her opponent, already made hundreds of impartial recommendations and decisions.
Having practiced law in Flint for 20 years before serving 13 years as a District Court Judge, I recognize the rare opportunity we have to ensure that the best prepared person is elected.

Exceptional energy
Both candidates for Leelanau County Probate Judge are reputable, competent and highly experienced attorneys. One stands out as bringing exceptional energy and leadership skills to the job.
The judge must provide leadership and be proactive in building effective relationships with police, probation, guardians and treatment professionals to assure that the vulnerable and the public are protected. This takes organizational skills of the highest order.
From the perspective of my 24 years as district judge in Leelanau County, I recommend Marian Kromkowski’s leadership for a court seat left vacant since the untimely passing of my good friend Judge Joe Deegan.
James R. McCormick, Traverse City The writer is a retired 86th District Judge.
Thousands of cases
I have known Marian Kromkowski for more than 20 years; I respect and admire her.
As a pioneer domestic relations mediator, Marian is dedicated to finding equitable ends to conflict. As an advocate for peace and justice, she has demonstrated a belief that no person or group deserves any more or any less justice than another.
She has experience: She has heard thousands of cases as a judicial officer. As an attorney, she has represented clients in the types of cases decided by a probate judge. Marian is uniquely qualified. I support Marian Kromkowski for Leelanau County probate judge.

Level-headedness
I met Marian Kromkowski in 1999 through our work with Shielding Tree Nature Center near Port Oneida. She was a board member, I was volunteer coordinator. Her integrity of character and level-headedness were obvious. Marian radiates peace and calm. In the last decade, I have admired her efforts as a citizen striving for social justice for all.
Her training in domestic relations mediation and other credentials, coupled with wide endorsement by area lawyers, is testament to Marian being the person we can count on to administer fairness and justice as Leelanau County probate judge. Please give her your vote.

Elect Kromkowski
I’ve been a practicing attorney in this area for 30 years. I have had
many opportunities to see Marian Kromkowski at work. I have always
been impressed with her thoughtfulness and hard work. She is
respectful and not afraid to make the difficult decisions. I have
found her to be very knowledgeable in the law. Her broad
understanding of the law and experience in the courts make her an
excellent and the best candidate. A judge needs good judicial
temperament. She will be a judge Leelanau County will be proud of.

Walks the talk
I have been a resident of northern Michigan since 1987, and am the founder and executive director of Wings of Wonder. I have known Marian Kromkowski since 1992, when our young children attended the same dance studio. Marian and I would oftentimes find ourselves sitting in an empty dance room doing some last-minute costume stitchery prior to a dance performance.
I have continued to be greatly inspired by Marian’s strong sense of purpose, family values, honesty and integrity. She is a woman of her word and truly walks the talk!

Kromkowski has experience for job
I am a practicing attorney in Leelanau County. We are fortunate to have two qualified and experienced candidates running for Probate judge. I have known Marian Kromkowski and her husband, Matt Posner, for 30 years. I am confident that the voters will
realize even from a cursory review of Marian Kromkowski’s resume (visit Kromkowski.com) the superior qualifications that Marian brings to this position, and the breadth of her professional and community accomplishments.
She has the distinct experience of serving for 17 years as a court referee dealing with the very kinds of matters she will encounter in Probate Court, and she’s the perfect fit for this position.
I have been struck by the consistent and passionate way in which she dedicates herself to those that she serves. Her experience and reputation as a skilled, effective mediator are known statewide.
She has recently joined others to form Up North Collaborative Divorce Professionals to advance the collaborative model of dispute resolution for divorcing or separating couples. Marian remains committed to advancing the most effective and humane approaches to this difficult field of practice. For dedicated and outstanding service, vote Kromkowski for Probate judge on November 2.

All the qualities of a good judge
During 30 years as an attorney in my home state of Indiana, three
years on the faculty of the law school at Notre Dame, and now during my residence in this area, I encountered a fair number of judges. Years ago I concluded that there are four main qualities of a good judge: experience, intelligence, a good judicial temperament, and an innate sense of fairness.
I’ve known Marian Kromkowski for a long time and I can say without
reservation that she possesses each of these qualities — in spades.
Elect Marian as Probate Judge of Leelanau County. You won’t be disappointed.
Steve Morse
Kromkowski can mediate
It should be noted by the voters in Leelanau County that candidate Marian Kromkowski, for Probate judge, is the only candidate who has had extensive experience in mediation. And, in fact, she is the
first attorney in Northern Michigan to be trained in domestic
relations mediation — and to offer such services.
Ms. Kromkowski had successfully introduced collaborative divorce practice in our area, and serves on the board of the Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan.
We urge thoughtful voters to consider Marian Kromkowski’s unique qualifications for this most sensitive of judicial positions.

Marian is a remarkable person and domestic relations referee. On the bench she is fair and unbiased and follows the law when making tough decisions regarding custody, parenting time and support.
Even though her work is stressful and time pressures exist, she is respectful of all in our office and never fails to take time to answer our questions, discuss and provide constructive suggestions to our concerns. She will make an excellent Leelanau probate judge.

Kromkowski’s history of virtue
Marian Kromkowski has been my friend for 40 years. We went to St.
Joseph’s High School in South Bend, Ind., and were roommates at Indiana University.
She was an excellent student. Her father was a well-respected county clerk and then county treasurer. He also sang in the church choir with her mother. Her mom was the essence of family virtue. Both gave their five children virtues of honesty, integrity, perseverance, empathy, community, faith and love that I do
not often see in America today. Marian still has these beliefs.
Over the years Marian has been the friend who would quietly listen as I flooded her with a problem I was facing in my life. Each time she would process it all and calmly and kindly say, “This is what I think you need to do.” She’s always been insightful and wise. I believe Marian’s heritage, intelligence and compassion will be a benefit
for all of Leelanau County. You are lucky to have her running for Probate Judge.

Rising above
The job of the Probate Court judge is an often difficult one that requires the ability to listen to various sides in dealing with family disputes. It requires a calm approach, and the ability to listen closely to differing viewpoints; it requires wisdom and, above all, experience in settling difficult situations. One candidate rises above the rest in these qualities: Marian Kromkowski. Marian is well respected to those who know her as someone who is calm with a quiet strength; smart, with the ability to hear all sides of an argument; wise, and experienced as a long-time family mediator. prior to making her final decision. Marian cares about families and children and results for the people with whom she comes in contact in the court system. She is not afraid to make an unpopular decision, if it is the right decision. I highly recommend and support
Marian Kromkowski for Probate judge. Vote for Marian on Aug. 3.

Marian Kromkowski is a candidate for Probate Judge of Leelanau County. The primary election is on August 3 with the final election on November 2. The undersigned Leelanau attorneys are looking for your economic support to enable Marian to reach out to the entire Leelanau community.
Marian’s extensive experience in the very matters that are within the jurisdiction of the probate/family court make her the most qualified candidate. She has been a Domestic Relations Referee for the last 17 years, first in the 13th Circuit Court for Grand Traverse, Antrim and Leelanau counties, and then in the 29th Circuit Court for Wexford and Missaukee counties. In this capacity, she has presided as a judicial officer over thousands of family related trials and hearings. In doing so, she has heard the testimony of witnesses and arguments of counsel, determined the credibility of witnesses, applied the rules of evidence, the Constitution, statutes and case law, and provided prompt, well-reasoned decisions. You must be a lawyer to be a judge, but “judging” is different than “lawyering”. It is Marian’s judicial experience that distinguishes her from the other candidates.
Marian is also the only candidate with extensive mediation and collaborative law background. We know that nearly 95% of all cases settle before trial. How they settle is significant. Marian’s respectful demeanor and extraordinary listening skills make her one of the most often chosen mediators in our area. She has brought collaborative divorce practice to our area and is a board member of the Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan. Finding solutions that work for families has been a hallmark of her legal career.
Her private practice in criminal law and domestic relations further enhances her experience. She has represented hundreds of criminal defendants at the trial and appellate level, which well prepares her to resolve juvenile and all criminal matters before the court.
Help us put Marian on the Leelanau bench. Please use a personal check and make it payable to Committee to Elect Marian Kromkowski. Include your address, and mail it to P.O. Box 519, Suttons Bay, Michigan 49682. You may also contribute by credit card at www.Kromkowski.com. If you are unable to contribute but wish to volunteer in some other way, call Marian at 271-4990.
Thank you.

RANDY KARFONTA “I know Marian Kromkowski personally and professionally. She is an excellent attorney and her reputation as a referee and as a mediator is one of caring hard work and fairness. Marian and her husband are fine examples of devoted parents. Their children enjoy excellent reputations in this community. I do not send such bouquets lightly. Marian would make an exceptional judge.”
DEAN AND CINDY ROBB “We have know Marian and her family since 1991. Our children attended Suttons Bay Schools together. Marian and Matt were leaders in adding more fine arts and music to our school’s curriculum. Their three daughters are a living testament to their talents as parents and role models. Marian is the perfect person for probate court judge.”

BOB MARSHALL AND MARY EASTHOPE “We can find no one who exceeds the qualifications or can better exemplify the desirable qualities of a probate judge for our Court than Marian Kromkowski. Over the years she has not only exhibited a model of judicial temperament as a Domestic Relations Referee but she had accumulated a wealth of experience in the fields of mediation and collaborative divorce and criminal law. ”
TOM AND DARYLENE SHEA, formerly of Traverse City “Marian has an exceptional ability to listen, summarize and highlight the important issues in any exchange. She considers all sides of positions, facilitating a balanced exchange among sometimes contentious participants. Judge Deegan was one of the standouts on the bench for his welcoming and evenhanded work for justice. We think Marian Kromkowski would be a worth successor to the late Judge Deegan.”
SAMANTHA GARCIA, Traverse City “Marian undoubtedly has the professional experience, knowledge and expertise to carry out the duties of an elected Judge, what sets her apart is her life long commitment and volunteer efforts focused on promoting community, family and a healthy future for all children.”
SALLY VAN VLECK, Old Mission “Marian is hard-working, dedicated and trustworthy. She is committed to peace and justice and would make an excellent judge.”
MICHAEL RICHEY, Attorney “Marian is a tireless and passionate individual with the right acumen, temperament, and most importantly, experience to be Probate Judge.”
STEPHANIE MILLS, Maple City “I’ve long admired her thoughtfulness, persistence, and sense of justice.”
GEORGE BEARUP, Attorney “I have always felt that as a Referee, Marian evaluated the evidence fairly and was at all times objective in rendering an opinion that both complied with the law but also reflected the human needs of the litigants and the families”
JOHN ROYAL, Attorney “I met Marian while we were both in law school. We have remained friends and colleagues for the past 30 years. I have had the opportunity to speak with other attorneys, assistant prosecutors and judges regarding their impression of Marian’s legal skills. Without exception, all have expressed high praise for her work ethic, her intelligence, her dedication, and her commitment to the zealous representation of her clients, within the bounds of the rules of professional conduct.”
WILLIAM BARNETT, Attorney “As our current Referee in Wexford and Missaukee Counties, Ms. Kromkowski has served with the highest distinction. She has performed with excellence and has obtained the respect of area attorneys. I am particularly impressed with her ability to maintain decorum in the courtroom and her ability to preside with a demeanor suitable for the Probate bench.”
MONIKA SACKS, Attorney “I have known Marian since Wayne State University Law School. She has always impressed me for her intelligence, judicious and reasoned manner in approaching any crisis and the energy, creativity and tenacity she brings to any project.”
ZENA ZUMETA, Attorney, Mediation Trainer “It is easy to see that Marian has judicial temperament and the knowledge and skills to be an excellent judge. It is particularly difficult to be a judge in family law contexts, since emotions run so high in these areas. She has proved her ability to stay calm in the midst of the storm, and to provide wisdom to the families she deals with”
FRED ELMORE, Suttons Bay “When I review Marian’s resume, I see a well rounded individual with the skills and knowledge that our county needs during this time of transition. When I review my personal knowledge and experiences with Marian, I see an intelligent, compassionate, ethical woman with the desire and aptitude to serve the citizens of Leelanau County with distinction.”
DON AND CAROL MEAD, Glen Arbor “We have always found Marian to be a wise and compassionate person. Her experience and training make her a perfect match for the position of Probate Court Judge. It is hard to imagine how anyone could be better suited to the needs of that position. Marian is widely known and respected throughout our county and the region.”
NORM KJOME, Suttons Bay “I have found Marian to be a wonderful, caring person, who is well-balanced and considerate in her dealings with others. When I have heard her speak at peace and justice forums she speaks from a position of having considered an issue very carefully. I expect that her personality would absolutely fit in the position as Probate Judge.”
DEBORAH L. BERECZ, Attorney “I have known Marian for approximately 10 years through our association in the work of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the State Bar of Michigan. More recently, I have had the privilege of working with her on the board of the Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan (CPIM). Prior to meeting Marian, I had learned of her by reputation as a one committed to seeking justice for those who came before her as referee and for her excellent skills in conflict resolution as a mediator. Upon getting to know her, I happily discovered that her reputation was justified.
Over the years I have observed many people seek election to the bench, most of whom were perhaps qualified by experience on paper. Occasionally, some of them demonstrate the sort of wisdom and judicial temperament that justify their election as well. Marian Kromkowski is one of those people.
She will do our bar association, judicial system, and state proud as Leelanau County Probate Court Judge”
GINA ARANKI, Suttons Bay “While Marian’s resume speaks to her impressive professional credentials. The qualities that really make her shine won’t be found there. She is calm and graceful under pressure. She is a good listener, and based on her knowledge of the sides of an issue she is an assured decision maker. She clearly likes and cares about people, and she has a good sense of humor. She and her husband have raised three outstanding daughters, all of whom are extremely bright and committed to giving back to their respective communities—a value that undoubtedly comes from their parents.”
MICKEY O’CONNOR, Northport “Marian always speaks with great clarity when addressing complicated issues. For those of us who are not schooled in the law, I find her public statements completely understandable and enlightening. I consider her to be intelligent, knowledgeable and compassionate in her advocacy. I knew and admired Judge Joe Deegan. We were in St. John’s Seminary together. He was a beautiful human being and a great judge. I’m sure Joe would be pleased to see Marian follow him in this extremely important work. She certainly possesses the education, judicial temperament, and experience to qualify for position.”
SUSAN KOPKA AND STEVE SMILEY, Omena “We have known Marian professionally and personally for nearly 20 years. Our children attended school together. Marian respects people of all cultures, economic status and backgrounds. Marian’s sixteen years of judicial referee experience have emphasized mediation and conflict resolution, including divorces that honor the future of children and family integrity.
Leelanau County’s juvenile probate office is known throughout the state for its innovative and progressive programs and low rates of recidivism. We desire a judge who can continue this service to our county’s youth and families. We will be voting for Marian”.
MAURA BRENNAN, Attorney “I have known Marian since 1989. She is a leader on peace and justice issues and in our legal community. Because she has a reputation for being smart, methodical, and fair in her consideration of legal issues, she is always my first choice as a mediator, and I have never had an attorney disagree. This speaks to the respect she has earned from her colleagues.”
BRONWYN JONES, Maple City “Marian is an ethical and consummate professional, deeply committed to service, social justice, and the letter of the law. She would be a truly honorable Leelanau County Probate Judge, serving the citizens of this county with great dedication and skill.”
